Re: Will not warm up!



   AFAIK too much antifreeze will make the car run
hotter.  The boiling point of the coolant will be
really high also but glycol doesn't absorb and
transfer heat as well as H2O.  
   Of coarse too much water lowers the boiling point
and turns into vapor which doesn't cool vary well in
our closed loop radiator systems.  
   I can't recall seeing a case were coolant made the
car run to cold.  Usually it is the thermostat that
has gotten stuck open.  

   If getting heat inside the car is the problem.
Other possibilities besides a faulty thermostat are a
clogged heater core or a broken heater valve.  These
are rare occurences though.

This is all in my own experience of coarse.
