I'd say it's about $100 too high.  A 2L 16v block can be had
for <$500, while heads are usually <$300.  In my mind, $800 is the
high side.

I think the Motronic swap is going to be worth it. :)  It's probably
going to be worth about 10-15hp and improved part throttle response, as
well as high rpm fuel enrichment.   Oh, this all assumes a custom
burned Garrett chip taking into account the mods on my engine.

I was talking with Mike Potter about what I was trying to
do with the Motronic conversion while keeping the drivers side
fuel metering and lines and he made some calls around.  He found
a place that made small adapters the sit between the CIS-E fuel
lines and the Motronic injectors.  They were a bit expensive at
$20 each, but I bought a set.  They're actually quite nice, and
exactly duplicate the proper threads as well as the proper seating
areas for the CIS-E lines and Motronic injectors.  Mike liked them
so much also, he bought a set for his 2L 16v Mk1 Motronic conversion.
