Re: My car is running again (at least for now)



Sounds like a similar experience I had with an 8V Jetta once. The Jetta has
a cluster of ground wires bolted to the intake manifold near the coil. Well,
after years of the engine rocking back and forth, those grounds began to
break. At first it was intermittent, but then it broke for good, and
everything seemed to be grounded there. Doing tests, I found no spark and no
fuel, even when I jumped the fuel pump at the fuse block.

You may have a similar problem, so check all of the common grounds you can
find.
