I really enjoy my '91 Passat, even though it IS an
automatic.  The 2.0 16v is surprisingly quick given the
size of the car.  And room...    it's big!  Excellent car
for cruising the freeways.

As much as I love the car though, I won't keep it forever -
it will probably go up for sale once the worst of winter is
over, then back to Sciroccos for the spring / summer.  I'm
*hoping* that by next fall the other lister in question
will be ready to sell me his '93 GLX wagon.  Almost every
time we get together I practically insist on grabbing the
keys...
