fuel mileage also depends on the revs.  My neighbour has a '99 firebird
formula (6-spd), and surprisingly, it gets better mileage than his 4-cyl
daytona.  I rode in the firebird once on the highway, and at 120kph, the car
was revving at under 1150rpm
