ATF in Engines

The first thing we do when we change an engine at the yard if it has
noisy lifters or a slight knock is add some ATF.  9 times out of 10, it
will clean up whatever build up has been inside the engine and the
noise/problem goes away.  When you change the oil the next time, just
resume regular useage of all oil.
