ATF in the OIL - Don't Run with Scissors

ATF is NOT enough of a lubricant.

Do NOT run around with it in your engine.

Try (if you must) to pour a quart in a warmed up engine 
-Right before you change the oil.

Do Not drive the car with it in there, just idle and drain.




Best is to change old funky oil for fresh new oil, let run  500-100
miles or so and change it again.

Better trick than ATF is Heavy Detergent Oil meant for Diesels.
