No need to go all the way to Germany! O'Gara-Hess & Eisenhardt, located in
Fairfield, Ohio (north side of Cincinnati) is a long time builder of armored
vehicles. It wouldn't suprise me to find out they built that S600. My
powder coater does a lot of work for them and armor plating doesn't look
very impressive :( I drive past them almost daily and the majority of the
vehicles I see are military Hummers, white Suburbans, and white vans. From
what I have been told, the higher vehicles and Presidential vehicles come
via covered/enclosed trailer - have never seen one :( I keep watching for a
help wanted sign out front!!

Their website is cool, too!

Here's the page on their S600:

Better yet, they even list the Jetta!!

So, who's going to get the first armored Scirocco?

Greg :)
