I wasn't too happy with the show...at least with the scirocco
representation.
I felt I should have entered mine after seeing only a couple on
display....plus it sounds like pretty good odds of winning if I had
(seeing I'd be the only one)....but the drive up the mountain killed me.
My clutch has been slipping on hills for a little while and I was afraid I
was not going to make it to the top. man that would have sucked.
Plus I was hoping to meet a few listers, I actually wanted to turn around
after a saw a black scirocco from Washington driving up when I was heading
down, but I don't think I could have made it up the mountain again....
I think my car has a phobia about car shows, two years ago on my way to
SIR some electrical gremlin appear and I died on the side of the highway
just outside Renton.

oh well hope to see some folks at the great Canadian bug show in
Coquitlam, BC in a couple of weeks.

Well, our show was yesterday.
No Sciroccos actually entered the show except for the two that are in our
club and somehow I managed to pick up the trophy for " Best Club Car"....

bet Andy and Shannon stuffed the ballot box :)
We did have a Scirocco class separate from the Corrados but none showed
up!
We also gave the Police Beetle an "outstanding entry" trophy because
nobody
brought their New Beetles to show.
Wasnt that a fun drive up the mountain? :) I went up at like 5 in the
morining and there were no cops!
