Re: audi TB



I just did the Audi conversion on my Scirocco.  I used a Rabbit TB for the
linkage parts, and it had the donut you're talking about.  I pounded it out
for the heck of it and discovered that there's a vaccum line that sorta pins
it in place.  I ended up shearing this off  when I pounded out the donut.  I
don't think it really matters since the vaccuum line still extended into the
bore.  Just warning you so you don't freak out if you have this line.  Also,
after I pounded it out, it looked exactly like the TB outta my scirocco.
You shouldn't have any problems.  I don't have a clue as to what the donut
does, other than boost the vaccuum signal to that little line.
  What sucker did you get to buy your Scirocco TB for $50!?!  Tell him if he
wants another I got one!...hehe
