line lock ?

Well like most everyone, my e-brake is junk and i was thinking tonite that
instead of screwing around trying to get working rear calipers and cables,
i would try a line lock- one of those things that drag racers use to lock
the front wheels for burnouts, but plumbed into the rear brake lines.  Does
anybody have any thoughts, criticism or any reason why this wouldnt work as
well as a regular e-brake.  No, i dont use my brake to drift the rear end
either, so thats not an issue.  Any reason this wont work?
