FS 88 MK2 16v $ 850 or 84 MK2 8v $250 and a 16v for $5500 in Southern California.

$850 car:
Ian and I just looked at a Silver 88 16v with shaved door handles.
This car needs some front end body work. I have seen worse
cars driven by folks on this list. This car is well below my standards
for a car that I would drive as my pride and joy. The door handles were
filled and the key is locked inside. This car has been sitting for
one year (bird poop no extra charge) probably because the battery
is dead and the power locks will not work without the power.
All the glass is original and it has lowering springs and sway bars,
not sure what kind. I am not sure if the 16" wheels are part
of the deal for $850 but they were nothing special. The car
could be used for day to day driver provided that it still runs.
If you were looking for a motor for a gti 16v project or you
just want to have some fun with a saw this could be the car for you.
>From 30 feet the car looked worked but derivable if it had a bath.
The cloth seats were OK with the usual bolster damage on the drivers side.

If you want it let me know. E mail me.

$250 car:
I also know of an 84 MK2 that is for sale for $250.00.
It runs but need some work. If you wanted to make a convertible
with the tools in you garage this could be your car.
I think it has new CVs and other stuff. If you end up purchasing
any of the listed cars and you are disappointed in any way
don't be upset with me. The cars are just old and worked, you know,
the kind that you find in the junk yard but these still have a chance.

If you want it let me know. E mail me.

$5500 car
White 16v with euro bumpers and custom wheels.
The stock tear drops come too. 148K
This car looks good. I would talk down the price but
this one looks like it could be a show winner.
