I a wiper off my dual wiper setup and cut it short and rebent the the tip.
It works fine and is straight.

     hey anyone out there with a mono-wiper....I want to straighten out the
     wiper arm but I am not sure what i can straighten....can you
     completely take out ALL of the bends or will it bind with the wiper

     or do you take out the "s" type bend in it and leave the one bend that
     raises up the mount to the wiper like the picture below?
