RE: wheel bearings



Who would have the wheel bearing/hub removal tool for rent?  When torqueing 
down the 27mm axle nut, I've heard that applying "a ton" of torque will 
help an ailing wheel bearing last a tad longer.  True/untrue?

Does anyone think $125 is a good price for installing a new front left
wheel bearing?  It's the total cost, parts and labor.

I had these done 3 years ago and this one is bad again now.  What's up with
that?
