It is not hard at all dude. Take off all the belts, and the waterpump
pulley. Pull the upper and lower timing belt covers. Voila! you are pretty
much there. The crank should have a mark for TDC, as will the cam. if it is
a 16v you wont have to align the middle shaft thingie (technical term), but
if its an 8v, pull the distributor cap, and turn the intermediate shaft to
where the rotor is pointing at the little line that marks cylinder 1.

I plan on changing the timing belt on my car myself for the first time, and
while I'm at it I just may put in the euro cam.  Anyone change the belt
themselves and if so was it difficult.  It does not apprear to be, but how
hard is it to get the timing right or should I take it to get the timing
checked
when completed?  Any info on special tools besides the wrench to
tighten the belt needed?  As always, I will refer the the Bentley Bible for
reference.
