LARGE speeding ticket

Hey all. Especially to the CDNs amongst us..............DO NOT double the speed limit even for 30 seconds on any street. (foolishly mine was a main artery here in the city). I did (ooops) and now have a WHOPPINGLY HUUUUUUGE $285 ticket, but luckily my license is STILL in my possession. The cops were quite curt (understandably) and asked me if I realized I was doing 100kmh in a 50kmh, of course I say no. They asked "are we in a hurry tonight??" I almost laughed, cause I was, and I said so.....old cliche I s'pose. They also did not appreciate a "move" I pulled on a car and bus to avoid getting "held up". While sitting in my car waiting for almost 20 mins in total.......they open their trunk, uh-oh was all i could think of. I honestly thought I was going in for that STUPID episode. In a way I owe them a debt of gratitude, I kept my license. The other little things they let slip was my front plate is off and I have a VERY dark cover over my rear plate which I was to have pulled a while back. Coulda gotten another $125 added for that cover, was let off with a warning for that earlier in the year. Anyway, some might think it is too much to say, but after they told me it took almost 2 kms to catch me to give my ticket.....I felt like laughing, cause I was driving my Roc and they in their piggish Crown Vic, and they couldn't catch ME. hehehee, sorry if I offend anyone with any braggish overtones here...but hey, when the biggest ticket you've had is $65 and 5 yrs ago, you kinda chuckle amongst your "how the FUCK am I gonna pay THIS" attitude.............thanks
