Oh man, I'd go for that Passat motor under the circumstances, in a
heartbeat.  My car's original owner went just about the exact same
route, buying a Passat motor with about 40k on it for $900, so your
deal is even better.

Trust me, you will **love** the upgrade and one spin around the block
will convince you immediately that your money was well spent!
