MK1 brakes

I am in the middle of an engine swap on my 81 scirocco. While the
engine is out of the car I have been looking at the posibility of
replacing the master cylinder and brake booster. I have a booster and
master cylinder from a 87 8v rocco and wondered if there would be any
bennefit to swap in this one? If so, I imagine that there would have to
be some mods made due to the fact that the MK1 master cylinder has 6
outlets while the MK2 cylinder only has 4 (the extra two ports on the MK1
are used for sensors to actuate the brake lights...I think). How would
the brake lights work without these sensors hooked up...is there another
alternative?
Note to all that will be here in Cincy this weekend:
**Tech Session Alert**
The JH motor is ready to be installed in my 81 !!
(the car is resting in the barn at Daun's house)
Anyone willing to help out is more than welcome!

See everyone then...
