 Uhh... have to dissagree here.  Again, you don't want to be sucking in all 
that hot air coming off the engine, exhaust, etc.  I wouldn't "swiss cheese" 
your airbox, only drill like maybe eight to twelve 1/4inch holes on the 
fender side of the airbox below the level of the filter, and maybe a couple 
on the bottom toward the fender side.
    
 Not a big HP gain by any means, but maybe on the freeway a teeny bit...
 makes a cool noise though.
