RE: 16v tranny machined itself! (parts)



A bolt kit replaces the wonderful the rivets in the differential, which just
blew a 6" hole in the side of my 16v transmission,and dumped gear oil all
over the clutch. VW transmissions suck, and with the 020 trans, its not if
it happens, just a matter of when. If you have the trans out get it done!
this is an expensive thing, but trust me, having your trans lock up on you
is not fun. Thanks,

What exactly is a bolt kit anyway? Is that the quafe or the other one like
that
that isn't as good?
