Scrub them with simple green and water, then let them dry.
Go buy some vinyl dye and spray it on.
I think some name brands are: MAR HYDE, Plasti-kote, dupli-color...
Just go to the spray paint section of your Friendly Local Auto Parts Store 
(FLAPS) and look around. they should be there.
