IMHO it would probably be cheaper to get a used tranny from a junkyard than getting yours rebuilt.  Even if you got yours rebuilt and got the bolt kit, I don't think it makes them immune to self machining--didn't Sean Meze have a bolt kit in his tranny and it still self machined?  


Maybe a list member has a used 16v tranny for you???
