Removing the A/C with a kit?

Volkswagen scirocco 16V a/c removal kit. Please note: you will need a new
alternator to complete this project, which is not supplied with this kit.
Removing the a/c (which has never worked on any scirocco I've ever owned)
gives a noticable increase in throttle response, 0-60 time, and gas
mileage. Aluminum bracket (maybe 1 lb)replaces the cast iron stock
bracket(11 lbs) and removing the condenser, receiver/dryer, and compressor
will shed well over 100 lbs from your car not to mention giving more room
in the engine bay. Kit comes with aluminum bracket, bolts, pulley, belt,
