Power Loss

Need some help please!!
I recently replaced my TB on my 16v and noticed (may have been there before the TB replacement) that at around 3700 rpm that the engine looses power like loosing a cylinder.  All cylinders are firing and I still have alot of acceleration, but I think not as much as I could have if I knew what was causing this drop in power.  Any possibilities??
