Idle Too High

<x-charset iso-8859-1>My '86 16v has just started idling all the time at 2000rpm, as if the
automatic choke is stuck on.  It may or not be a coincidence, but it's been
raining cats and dogs here all night and all morning, so possibly some
electrical connection got wet.  How do I check it out?
