This is really a FAQ, but THE places to buy parts are from Mike at 
Virtual World Parts (http://www.parts4vws.com) and Mark at Adirondack 
Auto Brokers (http://www.germanautoparts.com).

I, and several others, have had bad experiences with Parts Place. 
Mike and Mark on the other hand, have excellent prices, are eminently 
knowledgeable, and will tell you when you can get something cheaper 
another place.
