Loose steering wheel/column

Lately when I go over smal cracks or bumps or what not, I can feeling it 
directly through the steering wheel? What is my problem...Also, for those 
intersted, I fixed my weird parking/turn signal lights problem...All it was 
was that the front right turn signal's 'prongs' were touching...All help is 
appreciated.
