Re: fatty rear tires

The big tires on the rear are not functional on a FWD. As you know the
kits are for people who want to stretch the imagination.
You never know when someone will make a rear wheel drive
Scirocco. It has been done. You know an all wheel drive
Scirocco has been done too. Even a 2 motor Scirocco was made.

Zender and Kamei designed kits that were used in production by VW.
In the 80's Motorsport was big. You will note that the M3 had blistered
fenders and a big wing. Porsche had major blisters and big wings too.
The "rice" stuff was copied from the Euro Motorsport movement.
In the old days the "rice" attachments were true bolt on crap that
did not integrate with the design of the car. The Zender, Rieger, ABT,
and Kamei aftermarket style kits are designed solutions. You may
not like the big kits but they are not for everyone. You gota give
the folks credit that have taken the time to do a nice job grafting
on the fenders and attaching all the plastic so it looks like the
car was made that way. You don't have to drive it if you don't like it!

This brings me to the show car topic. Would you be happy just looking at
stock cars at shows? What fun would that be? I say the more wild the better,
just put the car in a barn and don't drive it on the road. You don't see
real F1
race cars on the road and you should not see wild show cars on the road
eater.

Check out my cars and you see what I drive. Your cars may differ.
