Re: fatty rear tires

I can only speak for myself. I have a wide body kit by Zender and the
main reason I have this kit is because I wanted something to make my roc
different from the majority.........so I spent the cash. The wide body
kit calls for wide wheels and larger tires or you would have some
serious wheel well gap. Is it cosmetic?, sure it is and you may or may
not sacrifice performance. I cut off enough sheetmetal when the fiber
glass fenders were put on so that I ended up with a net gain in weight
of only 8 pounds. I put out more than enough power with my 2.1 and NOS
to handle
the kit and the "fatty tires". Bottom line, if I wanted a car that
looked like everyone
elses.....I would drive a Honda.
