I'm one of those cross-breeding bastards, too.
I put Honda Accord (the old one) Alloys on my GF's FoxWagen.  At one of the 
Bug Shows, I grabbed a set of center cap stickers and put them over the 
little 'H'.  They don't look half bad actually.

I had a set of Honda 13x6 steel wheels on one of my rabbits. The offset was 
higher than the VW offset, and it lookoed pretty tough (for 13x6 steel 
wheels...)
