How about the ball joint and/or control arm bushings?

Ok...I have heard many opinions on what my noise is...I am going to describe
it one more time, and if you would take the time to guess (or tell) me what
the noise is that would be greatly appreciated...also, if you would include
how I can test whether what you think the noise is is the problem or not,
that would be great. Here are the symptoms:

1. (most prominent symptom) When applying pressure on the accellerator after
an absence of pressure, there is a "cuh-chunk" sound. It is a double clunk.

2. This same noise also happens when I am just coasting.

3. Yet, the same noise happens when I enter my alley and hit the driveway
ramp thing.

4. The noise sounds like it is coming from just left of the wheel under neath
the car.

5. The engine does vibrate quite a bit when i start in first w/ the e-brake
on (to test for bad engine mounts).

6. It is one noise that came all at once, not in installments.

People have said the following things:

Strut mounts
Strut bearings
CV joints
Tie Rods
Engine mount(s)

Let me know what you think...If I can't figure this out, I might have to pay
somebody to check the car out (God forbid).
