Yeah me too, :) CIS did not stop in the US in '80. I have had a '78 with
it and all the '81s I have dealt with are CIS.

The same 1.7 engine was used i the '82s & I think they had the same fuel
system as well. Ecen my '84 GTI donor mobile had CIS, I know because
it's in the Roc now.
