I dont know if this is relevent at all, but on my Mitsubishi starion, I've 
got 225/50 ZR16 dunlop SP8000's on it. I got them for $85 apiece at the tire 
rack and they are great. super wear, tons of grip, no squeeling, wet traction 
is incredible. they are directional and look cool to boot. I hear that the 
miata boys use these as their autocross tire. I like'm alot...
