tranny tracktion

When I spin my tires, I only spin one,
or at least one more than the other.
Is this correct?
I have been told that both tires should
get equal power, and if I spin'em they
should both spin. I was told this by a
honda mech who is a friend of mine,
he knows his honda's but when it comes
to vw's he knows nothing more than general
mech knowledge.
Is there something wrong with my tranny?
Or is this normal? if its normal them can I
get something to make it supply equal power?

My tranny as far as I know
is the stock one for my 80 Rocc.
If I recal correctly my old Jetta (85) would
only spin one tire too, so this is what confuses
me.

Hoping my tranny's fine,(nothing seems to be wrong exept this)
