RE: rear caliper --no ebrake////

<x-charset iso-8859-1>When I did the brakes on my 16V the Bentley manual said to adjust the
tension at the e-brake lever. Which is what I have done in the past. This
time I was lazy and after I bedded in the brakes on the way home, I just
pulled the lever up 5 times. Then for the next 2 days I would pull it up 5
times before I went in. My ebrake works perfectly now....

 Thank you for your time.

they insist that because I have had the problem with 2
new ones that the problem must be the way that I am
installing it. not their POS calipers. I called
their tech line "staffed by ase certified tech's" and
all that they could tell me is compress the caliper
piston again, intall and have a helper slowly press
the brake while I actuate the ebrake lever.
did anyone else have this problem or is it as common
as remamufactured fuel pumps not working( I have
played that game too_

btw aaron what is FLAPS ---cuase all I can think of is
F@#kin local autoparts store am I correct?

thanks
