MK1 horn buton repair

Hey-

Does anyone know of a solution to fixing those f*$#ing
plastic thingies that hold the horn button on. I got a
perfect one at the junk yard the other day and the
damn thing broke again. I guess the plastic is getting
too old to 'bounce back' I just hate having half of
the center of my wheel hanging out. 

Am I the only one with this problem?
