  I have no clue why!

I was supposed to get rid of it in 96, after 12 years. See, I had just
received that brand new Jetta GLS, and did not have extra parking
space, wanted to be reasonable, wanted to please my better half by
acting grown-up.

And here I am three years later, feeling mushy because I just stored
it for the winter.

I found out later that the mechanics at the dealer had been making
bets on wether or not I would have the nerve to sell it.

There is nothing like getting it from under the tarp in the spring,
smelling the leather, changing oil and filter, putting in fresh gasoline,
giving it a check-up and then letting it loose. I guess the closest must
be a young horse rumping in the grass in the spring, or taking a
motorcycle out after the snow has melted :-)

6 months to go till May 1st!
