Re: trans fluid leak



Have you checked that the leak is not the speedo cable - the oil runs down
the side of the box & drips onto the driveshaft flange on the short-shaft
side.  Check,  where the cable goes into the box, for cracked sleeving on
the cable itself and evidence of fresh oil around it.  Much easier to fix
than the flange seals!
