found a small pot of gold in the junkyard

Nothing of huge magnitude, but what i did find was pretty cool.
I found a pair of the sport leather front seats in all but mint 
condition(the all but part is that on one of them i had to sow a 4 
inch seam back together, otherwise mint condition) for 25 bucks 
each. A leather wrapped steering wheel for 10 bucks(also mint, 
kinda cool becasue the center piece of it said scirocco on it 
instead of the ususal vw emblem, pretty cool, i had never seen that 
before) and a leather wrapped shift knob and strangely mint leather 
shift boot, both of those for 5 bucks total. pretty happy, for 65 
bucks my interior kicks ass now.
lesson to be learned? keep looking, you will find what you seek, at 
the price you want(within reason people!)
(of course i am still waiting to find the elusive mint 16valve body kit 
for 50 bucks in a junk yard  :)
