Fibreglass fenders...

Hey guys,
     I found someone who may be selling me his fibreglass fenders (My
P.S. front fender looks like it's been through a war).  I believe that
he wants $150 for the pair (should I buy just one?).  Are these
fenders street legal?  What should I look for when I go see them.  I
have no clue about fibreglass so ANY feedback is going to help me out.
