Wiring is fun... sometimes/ ok never...

Classic wiring question; With the ignition on(not running) the instrument
lights are on, with the light switch off. Once the light switch is turned on
the instrument lights turn off. When the brights are not on the blue light is
illuminated and is off when the brights are on.  The Tach doesn't work when
the light switch is on, but is fine when the switch is off. Also  the wheel
dimmer on the light switch can control the brightness of the seat belt light,
E-brake light, and oil warning light when the ignition is on and not running.
By the way this on my new 84' Wolfsberg. LOTS OF FUN !
