RE: Scirocco look alike

the mk1 scirocco was designed by guigiaro of ital design.  the design for
the mk2 was also penned by guigiaro, but rejected by VW.  VW then designed
the mk2 in house.  and what happened to the proposed mk2 scirocco designed
by guigiaro?  isuzu bought the design and called it the isuzu impulse.
that's why the mk2 and the impulse look so alike.  and yes, towards the end
of it's life, it had it's suspension tuned by lotus.  not sure about the
audi GT, i don't really think it looks like the scirocco.
