Re: CIS problems(non-roc)



On a CIS VW my first guess would be a vacuum leak. I assume Saab CIS is the
same.. check the injector orings, if they're hard or brittle, replace. Aw
hell, replace em even if they aren't. Odds are they've never had the kind
of care they deserve :)
Check for little stupid vacuum leaks that will make all the difference in
the world. The idle screw o-ring, the intake boots for rips (yes even the
back side!) basically, anything past the airflow meter that can leak, will. 
This is a frustrating one. 
	On Andre's advice I just ripped out every single vacuum line I could find
except for vacum advance and brake booster. now it runs a LOT better. set
your CO screw when you do this tho.
