Rabbitation Rap-Up

Well, we all just got back to my house after Rabbitation. It was ok, a
little smaller than I expected based on the comments I'd seen on the list
and the watercooled newsgroup.

We had 11 cars at my house head out this morning, much to the bafflement of
my neighbors, as VWs just kept pouring out of my driveway. (I live in the
city of Rochester, and our yards aren't huge...!)

We thrashed down I-490 to the NYS Thruway where some of the stragglers had
a chance to catch up at trans-legal speeds. We got to the show site, and
added a good percentage to the numbers at the show! Sciroccos were the
dominant species, with Josh Strait's, Matt Markowicz', Brett's, and Mike
Leach's. There were a fair number of Rabbit/Golfs too, with the rest of
Alee and Jason's friends from Toronto.

There was a cruise planned, but the route went off-road on some
stone-covered roads, and with all the paint jobs and lowered suspensions,
no one wanted to risk it, so we thrashed back here to my house on some
freshly paved county roads.

A good time was had by all....you should have been here.
