Final saga of weird 82 rocco(longish)!!

Well Brett and I went out to see the car one more time and check it out
and yes it does have some interesting things on it but very rough
around the edges...anyway went to take it for one last test drive and
Brett was driving...taking it pretty easy..well to make this long story
short dropped it into third gear and the exhaust blew off at where the
cat used to be ..now it is dragging on the ground and it is about to
get dark so we screw with it for a while and cant get it back on to the
downpipe so go call the owner to come out with a  wire hanger to tie it
up and we take it back
anyway I offered him 1000 and he wants 1300 I was going to do it but
Brett talked me out of it...(there are better fish in the sea) so now I
am in the hunt for an older rocco for a winter carfor 1000 or less..so
keep your eyes open if you live anywhere near upstate NY
