TDI and the movies

I have a friend that is installing a TDI on a Vanagan Synchro.

It was on a pallet - so I had a good look at it. It appears that a major obstacle to an A1 install would be the passenger side motor mount . . . 

Another another note, I was watching the beginning of "planes trains and automobiles" and in the beginning where Steve Martin leaves the office in search of a cab, there's a silver MK1 in the pan shot . . .
