RE: little problem diaganostic



A useful tip: when you refit the transfer pump/lifter, lubricate the rubber
seal so that it doesn't stick against the tank top - they stretch and break,
as I found out. I was lucky it didn't drop in the tank! Don't use oil to
lubricate as it'll perish the rubber long term.

I'm going to try and replace the transfer pump. Hopefully that is the 
problem.  Any advice for doing this job? It seems pretty straight forward.
