Are you talking about the crankshaft bolt?  I had the biggest pain in the
ass of a time on the 2.0 with this.  So I'm removing stuff off the 1.8 and
was trying to free the outer pulley from it and hit it with a mallet and it
fell right off.  I thought the large bolt, for the crank, held it on; turns
out it is held on by the 4 allen head cap bolts, plus it fits on real tight.
