Why, I believe the bottom of the street is where Doug had his problems!
You GOT to be careful driving UP Lombard St. (Not the twisty part. Below
that there is a 2 way street which we drove up and Doug drove over the
manhole cover. I saw the cover and said, man, that thing sticks up damn
far, I better go around that thing. heh!) 
I didn't have any problems driving down the famed section part of Lombard
st. In fact, we got a single Roc pic of it. (On my page.) There should of
been 2 Scirocco's doing the Lombard tourist picture thing but Doug
decided he needed to change his oil (and pan) instead. He could of made
it! LOL!!
We made memories.
