I use MTL and everything I've ever heard is that MTL is proper for the
020 box, MT-90 for the 02A/02J (VR6 and latest NB/Golf/Jetta)
application.
Methinks that Redline may have accidentally given you a bum steer, you
might ask them again... <??>
